coaching - cardinal sin
i’m supposed to keep my own life lessons and philosophies behind a curtain when I coach and I mostly do.
and now i’m ‘outting’ myself.
here is my personal ten point whatever:
nobody gets out of here alive so squeeze as much juice out of each day as you possibly can
it feels better inside to be kind and loving rather than cruel and nasty and most of the time its a choice we can make and yes some people need a smack on the nose
i hope there is a source, a deity, a god, but a belief is a thought, an idea so i keep this in perspective and take responsibility for the life i lead
the world has some rules, you have to pay the rent, you have to eat and sleep, we need connection with others, nature looks and feels good, the world is run by the powerful but i think they are human, ultimately we need to get on with each other as much as we can, there will be things we have to do that are tedious, annoying and boring, we can only control so much, we will all be mostly forgotten one day
its up to us to find out what makes us individually tick. other people’s ideas on this will only take us so far
be honest with yourself, you’re imperfect and have built a persona to protect yourself, don’t be too hard on yourself, be your own best friend
helping other people feels good and always put your own oxygen mask on first
listen to your body, it needs to move, it needs to rest, it sometimes needs chocolate
only spend quality time with people that love the real you
don’t take life so seriously, we are all a tiny part of something big in an even bigger universe so have some fun with it and yeah screw it up sometimes
